The core of the Austrian Space Forum is comprised of alumni of the International Space University (ISU) and the Space Generation Advisory Council. They are professionally involved in various national and international space related activities.

Responsibilites: external representation, management OeWF spacesuit laboratory Innsbruck, PolAres programme officer
Career: Born 1975, masters degree in astronomy, PhD in exploration astrobiology (Leopold-Franzens University, Innsbruck), International Space University summer school (Houston/Texas), lecturer at the International Space University and the University of Innsbruck. Member of the Space Generation Advisory Council (Board of Mentors). Flight Crew 37th ESA Parabolic Flight Campaign. Programme Management Group AustroMars and PolAres. Teaches and does research at the Univ. Innsbruck in the field of human Mars exploration and Astrobiology. Dr. Groemer led more than 10 Mars expedition simulations, including the Northern Sahara, Utah and southern Spain and leads the development of the experimental spacesuit simulator Aouda.X.

Alexander Soucek, MLaw, MSS, vice-president

Responsiblities: Outreach, legal services, project manager
Career: Born 1978, study of law at Paris-Lodron University Salzburg (Austria), Master of Space Studies at the International Space University in Strasbourg, France. Space law and policy research at the Space Policy Institute, George Washington University, Washington D.C., NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Maryland, the UN Office for Outer Space Affairs, Vienna, etc. Flight Crew 37th ESA Parabolic Flight Campaign; Analog astronaut during the AUSTROMARS Mission (Utah, 2006), Flight Director of the OeWF Mars Field Simulations Rio Tinto (2011), Dachstein (2012) and MARS2013. After 10 years as Programme Coordinator of ESA's Earth Observation missions (ESRIN, Rome), he works since March 2013 as expert for international law and space law at ESA Headquarters, Paris.

Responsibilites: external representation, Corporate Identity, coordination ÖWF office Vienna, project manager
Career: Born 1968, holds a master of engineering degree from the Technical University Vienna; International Space University summer school (Houston/Texas). Member of the Space Generation Advisory Council (Board of Mentors). Research activities at the European Centre for Nuclear Research, Switzerland. Project manager of various ÖWF-events. System engineer for future studies and -technologies at ESA/ESTEC in the Netherlands. High-technology consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton in Europe. 2007 - 2009 Executive Officer of Qasar Technologies, Vienna. Since 2009 Joint Research Center Institute for Energy of the European Commission in Petten, Netherlands.

Willibald Stumptner, vice secretary

Responsibilites: external representation, project manager
Career: Born 1967 in Graz; high school Lichtenfels in Graz; student of technical physics at the technical university in Graz, and meteorology and geophysics at the Karl-Franzens-University Graz; Space Camp 1991; International Space University (1995); stay abroad ath the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility, Grenoble; 6 years at the Space Research Institute of the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Graz (atmospheres of planets and astro biology, especially Mars and Titan) ; At present he is laboratory and quality manager at the RCPE (Research Center Pharmaceutical Engineering).

Olivia Haider, Chief Financial Officer

Responsibilites: financial affairs, social media, membership services
Career: Born 1975, college of education Stams/Tirol, language assistant at the Lycee in St. Omer/France. Aftwards primary school teacher in various tyrolean schools. Studied applied informatics at the Management Center Innsbruck. International Space University Space Studies Program 2009, NASA Ames. Coordination IT-Services for Outreach & Education Division of LunarSat project. Coordination OEWF social media strategy and head of social media team of the forum. Currently project manager at an Austrian company.

Dr. Eva Maria Hauth, Deputy Chief Financial Officer

Responsibilites: financial affairs, PolAres project member
Career: Born 1978 in Linz, studied Business Informatics at the Johannes Kepler University Linz (doctorate 2005), until 2006 scientific member and software engineer at the Institute of Applied Science in Linz. From 2006 to 2009 software consultant at the voestalpine group IT department for knowledge management. Project management certificate IPMA. Since 2010 project and team leader at Hagenberg Software GmbH. Member of ÖWF since 2009, Eye in the Sky lectures at schools in Upper Austria, software development for Polares project, participation in various Polares field missions.

Responsibilites: Liason to the Austrian delegation to the United Nations Committee for the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space, and to other external organizations as required. Providing expertise and experience to the Board as appropriate.
Career: Born 1946 in Vienna, Ph.D. (astrophysics), University of Vienna, Austria. Former Head of scientific data processing at the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, Maryland and former Head of the ESA / ESO Space Telescope European Coordinating Facility in Munich, Germany.
