Welcome to the Austrian ISU-Alumni Association
AISUA is the Austrian Alumni Association of the International Space University. AISUA was founded in spring 2000, with the goal of offering efficient, practical and personal help for Austrian candidates during the preparation and application phase for the ISU Summer Session and Master Programs.
Every Austrian who graduated from an ISU program gets a free membership of AISUA. The AISUA website is part of the Austrian Space Forum. This web site serves as central information point for Austrian ISU applicants, Austrian ISU Alumni as well as ISU Alumni living in Austria.
SSP 2011 in Graz
it is a time of celebration for the Austrian ISU Alumni - the city of Graz has been selected as the site for the 2011 ISU Space Studies Program. Hosted by the "Institute of Communication Networks and Satellite Communications" at the Graz University of Technology an intense course awaits this next generation of "Space Cadets". Prof. Dr. Otto Koudelka - head of the institute - will welcome more than 100 participants and many space experts to this interdisciplinary, international and intercultural nine week Summer Session.
The Austrian ISU alumni will be happy to help to make this the best ISU SSP ever!
Alumni Gatherings
To meet Austrian Alumni's there are two fixed events you can get together with them. In December before christmas there is always an Alumni Gathering in Vienna and possibly also in the western part of Austria (probably around 18th December near Salzburg). Final dates will be released soon. And in summer during the SSP program there is an Alumni weekend. In 2011 it will be in Graz at the beginning of August. More details to follow.
ÖWF Events
Die Europäische Weltraumorganisation ESA lädt Kinder bis 14 Jahre zum Zeichenwettbewerb ein.
Thema im Mai sind Planeten und Monde.
Die besten Einsendungen werden ausgewählt und in die online Weltraumgalerie der ESA gestellt.

Die UK Space Environments Conference beschäfigt sich vor allem mit Weltraum-Medizin, Astrobiologie, Astrochemie und Mikrogravitionsphysik und findet heuer vom 16.- 17. Juni 2012 in Aberdeen, Großbritanien statt.

Die Europäische Weltraumorganisation ESA sucht und finanziert TeilnehmerInnen für das European Space Camp 2012.
Das European Space Camp auf der nordnorwegischen Raketenbasis Andoya lädt Jugendliche im Alter zwischen 17 und 20 Jahren vom 24. Juni bis 2. Juli 2012 zur Teilnahme am Raketenstarten im Rahmen des European Space Camp 2012 ein.
Die Bewerbungsfrist läuft bis 1. April 2012.
DetailZum dritten Mal lädt die Universität Innsbruck gemeinsam mit dem Verein aut.architektur und tirol und dem Österreichischem Weltraum Forum zum Unicamp 2012. Jugendliche im Alter von 16 - 19 Jahren haben die Möglichkeit eine Woche lang mit Wissenschaftler der Universtität Innsbruck einen Woche zu verbringen.
