Become Involved!

This could be your chance to get involved in frontline space research! PolAres is organized by making use of both professionals and volunteers, as it has been demonstrated through the AustroMars project very successfully. Hence, the Austrian Space Forum offers volunteers the opportunity to become part of the programme e.g. by providing their individual expertise (e.g. management, arts, engineering, expedition safety etc…).

It is our strong believe, that volunteer work does not mean “amateurish” work, but can obtain the same high level of professionalism given the proper training, commitment and enthusiasm as long as the right people are dedicated to the right work place.

PolAres unites people from various backgrounds. We encourage you to also use the programme as your personal chance to increase your knowledge, share inspiration and further your personal network, wisdom and insights about space exploration.

If you are interested send us a message with the following information:

Due to the surprisingly high number of highly qualified applications, our recruitment team is currently heavily busy. Therefore, it might take a few days until you hear from our human ressources group.-We apologize for any delay, but we would also like to take the time for any potential future volunteer.

If you submit this information, a PolAres representative will contact you (usually within 3 to 4 workdays) and will explore with you what PolAres is about and what might be the right place for you in the programme as a volunteer. We would like to point out, that at this moment, -except for a limited amount of scientific and engineering tasks- most of the work is being done in Austria/Europe.

This is your chance. Use it.
